How it works
Every Australian race is checked against the same rules: track, distance, field size and the market. No gut feel, no hunches.
Qualifying races go up on the tips page with the horse, race, time and the place price. Back each tip to place, not to win. Sign up free to get them by email too.
Prices and fields change. Each tip is checked again before the race and marked straight away if it's withdrawn.
Some days there are no tips. We only tip a race when it fits the rules, so quiet days are part of the system.
Track record
Every tip we've published, with its result. "Placed" means the horse finished 1st, 2nd or 3rd, so the place bet paid. Updated automatically each morning.

Questions
Is it a win bet or a place bet?
Always a place bet. The horse only needs to finish 1st, 2nd or 3rd. Mi-Pic doesn't tip win bets, and the results and percentages are all based on place bets.
Which bookmaker do I use?
Any. Tips show the fixed place price at the time of the tip. Prices vary between bookmakers and move during the day, so check yours before betting.
How many tips are there?
It depends on the day. Some days have one or two, some have none.
Is it really free?
Yes, right now. Everyone sees the same tips. If you'd like to support Mi-Pic you can chip in, but it's entirely optional and doesn't change what you get.
Will it ever cost money?
Not before April 2027. Nov–Dec 2026 is a trial quarter, and Jan–Mar 2027 is the first quarter that counts. Only after a quarter where 75% or more of the tips placed without a loss is the next quarter $49 for the whole quarter. If results drop below the target, the following quarter is free again. You'd always be told first, and nobody is charged without choosing to sign up.
